A word from Citizen Alpha
The CEF uniform is a matter of pride for us. It has been worn by hundreds of toons and was the costume of choice for nearly 75 lvl 50 dings! We wear our uniforms as a badge of honor. When people see the gold lion emblazoned across the ol' red , white and blue they know they have a great teammate!
As such, the uniforms are designed a very strict guidline with minimal exceptions for variations. A few examples would be the SG leader shoulder pads (Base Commanders, Field Commanders and Team Leaders), toons with wings as an intregal part of their characters identity (ie an angel or winged devil type toon) and toons with cybernetic body parts - this applies only to the head, hands and feet. If you are unsure, ask one of your friendly SG leaders for further verification. Click on either of the SG uniform models for screenshots showing the correct colors.

SG uniforms give us our group identity and have become known as a symbol of excellence on th Liberty Server. Below are some FAQ regarding the CEF's SG uniform policies:

Q: When would I be required to where an SG uniform?
A: SG Uniforms are worn when two or more Citizens are teamed with a non-sg teammate. We also require the SG uniform to be worn during all official SG business (ie costume contests, SG task forces, etc).
Q: Can I make alterations to the SG uniform?
A: Yes and no. The head and any back items are yours to do whatever you wish with them, however the boots, gloves, top and bottoms are standard. If you are promoted to one of the three SG leadershp ranks (Team Leader, Field Commander, or Base Commander) you will then be able to add predetermined shoulder details to show your rank. In the case of cyborg/animal-like toons, you may use monsterous glove and boot (feet) sets if they could not resonably be covered by normal gloves ot boots (ie Robotic hands or hooved feet).
